 Anfield Stadium Architectural Visualisation

Virtual Planit commissioned a project to create 3D stills and animations of the newly proposed Liverpool Anfield stadium and surrounding landscape. The Planit Group are responsible for the Landscape architecture of this large project, and wanted to show samples of how the stadium would look within its parkland surroundings. The new Anfield stadium will be built next to the existing stadium, taking away some of the space currently occupied by Stanley Park. An important concern for this project is to ensure that along with the stadium upgrade, the parkland area is also upgraded and renovated. This means that the landscape of the stadium will blend with the parkland, and in addition current park buildings will be completely renovated as part of the project.

Architecutre Visualisation The 3D modeling project involved taking architectural models of the stadium, created by its US designers and adding vegetation and parkland trees etc. Models were provided in Cinema 4D format and were exported to Eon software's Vue d'Espirit, where the landscape vegetation was designed and created to Virtual Planit's design specifications.

Several sample animations and stills were created throughout the project in an effort to get a realistic representation of the surrounding landscape. Sequoia Media worked closely with Virtual PlanIT to ensure that the end result met and exceeded expectations. Six video segments and many high resolution stills were created to finalise the project. Virtual PlanIT will take the stock footage and stills, integrate segments into their in-house developed renders, to produce a final 'presentation' for exhibition, press and TV events.
